Stieber Model RSCI backstopping clutches are mounted to gear reducers on power plant cooling tower fan drivetrains to provide reverse rotation protection. High speed and low speed load-sharing backstops from Stieber are used on incline coal conveyors. Both types feature a controlled release function allows the conveyor to rotate backwards incrementally for maintenance and clearing work.
